Grilling ribeyes

Ingredients

Cook temperature

  • Two 1" rid eye steaks
  • light seasoning with holy cow meat church
  • light amount of salt and pepper

Method

  • Set the big green egg to direct cooking without the heat deflector
  • preheat egg to really hot I would do around 500
  • place on cast iron searing grate and close lid
  • cook for 3 minutes each side
  • Let sit 5 minutes

Conclusion

I think it came out good. I like indirect better. I do 118 degrees and pull the convector place more wood get the flame raging and then place the steaks back on for a min on each side.
